WOW! This post saved me THOUSANDS of dollars!! I have been in the market for new furniture for months now, never quite sure how I was going to fix up my home on such a tight budget. THEN I read your article! I took your advice and reupholstered 6 old, ripped, and ugly pieces of furniture that were sitting in my basement, all of which I planned on throwing out.

The upholstery cost a couple hundred dollars, but in the long run, I saved THOUSANDS!!!!! And the best part is that you'd never know that my gorgeous paw & claw dining room chairs were once covered in vomit and rat poop!

Thanks Furniture Talk!
